There's been much written about Portsmouths Spinnaker Tower and how it over ran, and was only opened in 2005, but that's yesterdays news. Thankfully the human memory can forget problems and issues that happen in the past, and prefers to dwell on the nicer happier things. The Spinnaker Tower is up and open, and barring an issue with the outside lift, it's made its mark on Portsmouths skyline.

The nice thing about the tower is that there are so many different views around Portsmouth that include it. The view as you drive down the A27 by Farlington, with the tower dead ahead of you is nice, and the view from the common by the Hovercraft Terminal is also quite striking. When I'm next in town, I'll take some alternative views and upload them.

The thing everyone wants to know about the tower is, what's the view like from the top? Well the day I went up, it was fantastic.
